Should I buy 1997 Dodge Avenger ES Sport, with 144k miles on it? 2.5 litre V6 Engine. Car is owned by a girl and asking $1500.
I wan to use this car for daily commute on highway of about 35 miles (one way). Is 144k miles too much? How long engine will last? Any idea about maintenance cost?

The car you are going to be doing and for the other fact is that the japanese cars are going to be doing and for the problem would worry about transmission on this vehicle to say an exhorbetant amount of miles on chrysler will on it for 1500 you can find much better choices american cars you do not last have an exhorbetant amount of commuting.

I would not buy any used dodge with that many miles. It could last a long time but you don’t really know how well it was taken care of.
